Grant’s Farm, a 281-acre property in St. Louis County, Missouri, has been the Busch family home since 1903 and is famously known as the original U.S. breeding site for the Budweiser Clydesdales and is the early inspiration for what we now know as Busch Gardens theme parks. Today, multiple generations of the Busch family continue to steward the land, aiming to preserve and evolve this treasured piece of both family and national history.
The proposed master plan for Grant’s Farm outlines a thoughtful and forward-looking vision that blends historical preservation with innovation, sustainability, and education. It seeks to maintain the site's heritage structures while integrating modern elements to meet current needs and engage future audiences. The plan also emphasizes expanding animal conservation programs and enhancing the visitor experience through educational opportunities that foster a deeper appreciation for wildlife and shared history, ensuring that Grant’s Farm remains a meaningful destination for generations to come.
